New Beginnings

January is a host for new beginnings. A time to reflect on what must be achieved in the new year, decompress from the holidays, and reconnect with friends. Seattle winters can be (or are) gray and wet so keeping your environment invigorating and fresh is very important. Fresh cut flowers at home or in the office is an easy way to brighten up your mood when the weather really takes a turn for the worse.

Camellias are beautiful flowers that thrive in Washington's winter climate. They were first cultivated in China, Japan, and Korea thousands of years ago. Camellias were made into an array of products including tea, and oil for hair and skincare. They also have many symbolic meanings from admiration and gratitude to longing and fiery love.

Ample amounts of storage was achieved in the kitchen. Also, the owners now have a display for their antique Japanese dolls and cast iron tea pots.

The master sitting area is a perfect place to enjoy the gorgeous view of Elliot Bay.
